Ondo State Government says it is ready to aggressively shore up in the internally generated revenue of the state in a bid to fulfill its promise that all salary arrears will be paid way before the expiration of the tenure of this present administration

Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan made this known while speaking with newsmen on efforts of the state in ensuring a better welfare for all and sundry in the wake of lack of regular payment of salaries currently witnessed by the state

The Commissioner, who Spoke through his Permanent Secretary, Mr Bunmi Alade noted that despite the inflationary trend in the country’s economy, the state government is still able to attain a 78% performance of its current budget, even when the internally generated revenue for this year was put at 14%

He added that the state would continue to ensure that more revenue are being Racked in order to meet the overwhelming demands of not just public and civil servants in the State but all its citizens and residents.
