Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho says he is not above mistakes following the Super Eagles loss to Ghana.
Uzoho who responded to critics following the Eagles loss to the black stars took to social media to reveal his thoughts after the failure to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 23-year-old safe hand was in goal as the Super Eagles played a 0-0 draw in the first leg at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ashanti.
Uzoho was also in goal as the Super Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by the Black Stars of Ghana in the second-leg at the 60,000 capacity MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
A Thomas Partey strike conceded by Uzoho resulted in Nigeria being eliminated from qualification for the 2022 FIFA World Cup due to the away goals rule afterwhich several Nigerians descended on the social media pages of Uzoho to blame him for the goal.
However Uzoho has now taken to his official Instagram account to respond to the criticism he received while explaining that he can’t promise not to make mistakes again but can promise not to give up until he makes Nigerians smile.
Rangers defender Leon Balogun thereafter made a key comment responding to the post by Uzoho.
