Olaide Abioye is a highly-professional and talented Broadcast Journalist, story writer and
content creator with more than 10 years of experience in researching, investigating, writing,
editing, and presenting news items, bulletins, stories, documentaries and programmes on
television, radio, and the Internet. He is well known for his comical, spontaneous and
descriptive style of presentation.

He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, where he bagged his Bachelor’s Degree in
Physical and Health Education and later obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
from The Oke Ogun Polytechnic (TOPS), Saki Oyo State.

Olaide began his broadcast journey in 2009 as an intern with Great 94.5FM (the OAU campus radio
where he hosted the most popular indigenous sports programme on the station as at that time. He
joined Raypower/AIT in 2014 as an indigenous Newscaster/Presenter before moving on to Gravity
88.1FM Igboho, Oyo State as the head of Yoruba department and business development manager of the
station.

He is currently the head of Crest FM’s Yoruba unit where he anchors widely listened to radio
programmes. He was nominated for the the Best Indigenous Broadcaster Award (South West) at the
2015 Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Award, he won the Sport Presenter of the year award at the
Prominent Oyo People’s Award (POPA) in 2018. He was the winner of the Blogger of the year award at
the Distinguished Youth Personality Award in 2019 among many other awards he has won during his
broadcast career.

Olaide is an avid reader, who believes in self development through books, mentors and colleagues. He is
one to utilize any opportunity given to him. He is a sport enthusiast and has passion for African culture.
