As Nigeria joined the rest of the world to mark the 2022 world health day on Thursday, stakeholders in the health sector have charged nigerians to take care of their environment to avert pollutions.
An environment health expert, Dr. Adesola Oni, while featuring on Crest Breakfast Show, “Eyi Ara”, explained that a dirty environment is detrimental to human health and poses a major threat to the country and its population.
Also speaking, the chairman, Ondo state Association of nurses and midwives, kehinde Olomiye, advised government at all levels to preserve health policies to curb the issue of brain drain among medical experts in the country.
In his submission, a health project coordinator for a non-profit organization, Oladimeji Ayodeji, called for the enactment of more environmental bills to reduce outbreak of diseases in our environment.
