The Deputy Chairman, Red Cross In Ondo state, Mr. Aina Adegbola has identified data collection of Nigerians as a panacea to insecurity in the country.
Adegbola, while featuring on the Crest Breakfast Show ‘eyi Ara’ on Tuesday, stressed the need to have a database of Nigerians and update it regularly.
He explained that women and children are always the target of terrorists which is putting the future of Nigeria at risk.
He also urged the government to fight poverty to properly curb insecurity in the country.
It would be recalled that the International Committee of the Red Cross revealed that over 25,000 persons are missing in Nigeria including 11,000 children.
