The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Etikan Ward of Ilaje local government area in Ondo state, Mr. Ajimisan Johnson has been suspended indefinitely.
Ajimisan Johnson was suspended in a Party ward congress held on  Saturday, after a vote of no confidence passed on him by his fellow ward executives, over dereliction of duty and “running the affairs of the party unilaterally and personally with no recourse to both the Excos and Leaders” was ratified.
A written notice of the suspension made available to newsmen states that Mr. Ojajuni Ibukun Blessing has been appointed to, with immediate effect, take over as the Acting Chairman of the Party, in the ward.
Other decisions of the congress includes the nomination of Hon. Banji Okunomo, Hon. Godday Erewa, and Mrs. Ileola Korolo as the three adhoc delegates to represent the ward in the forthcoming Party Primary elections.
