A Member Representing Akure Constituency 1 at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Honourable Tolu Borokini has revealed that snakes and other rodents almost took over the old house of assembly complex in Akure as having plenary sessions became a major challenge due to its deplorable state.

Borokini made this known while speaking on Crest Fm’s Political Programme, The Platform, where he highlighted the challenges and achievements of this 9th Assembly.

Borokini who noted that the house truly experienced some upheavals which they tried to deal with internally, said that they also had some good legacies which the outgoing assembly can hold on to, part of which was the completion of a new complex ahead of the inauguration of the 10th Assembly.

Speaking on reconciliatory efforts amongst his co-contestants at the last House of Assembly Primary Elections in the All Progressive Congress (APC), the Akure Born Member of House of Assembly explained that he has met with all aggrieved parties and will continue to meet With them to ensure the party comes out successful at the general poll.

It would be recalled that Tolu Borokini won the ticket to run for another term to represent his constituency as the last primary election of the APC.
