A Peoples Democratic Party Aspirant, Honourable Akintola Olanrewaju has charged the federal government to provide a level playing ground for more youthful participation in politics, knowing they possess the strength and ability to work with the elderly for a better future.

Olanrewaju who gave the charge while speaking with newsmen at the Party’s Secretariat on Tuesday, opined that it is time for youths in the Country to have a better representation in a bid to contribute their quota towards making Nigeria a better place for all.

Olanrewaju, who some PDP leaders have described as a better alternative for Akoko North-East Constituency, called for conscious efforts by the people of his Constituency to work hand in glove with himself and other leaders to move the constituency to an enviable height.

It would be recalled that PDP leaders in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State had earlier passed a vote-of-no-confidence on the current member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing the Constituency, Honourable Rasheed Elegbeleye, thereby giving backing to Honourable Olanrewaju to replace him.
