An academia and lecturer in the department of mass communication, Osun state polytechnic, Babatunde Ishamuko has condemned the removal of History as a subject from the primary and secondary school curriculum.
Ishamuku who spoke on the Crest breakfast show yesterday said the act was wrong and evil.
He added that the importance of History to nation-building cannot be over-emphasized because without history, there will be no future and citizens will be in the dark.
The public affairs analyst also condemned the state of public schools in Nigeria urging the federal government to prioritize education, particularly in government-owned institutions.
