Manchester United’s Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen have withdrawn from the Denmark squad for this month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers because of injury.
Midfielder Eriksen came off after 40 minutes and striker Hojlund after 79 minutes in United’s 1-0 English Premier League win over Luton Town on Saturday.
Denmark host Slovenia on the 17th of November and travel to Northern Ireland on the 20th of November.
In the same vein Manchester City defender Nathan Ake has pulled out of the Netherlands squad.
The Netherlands play the Republic of Ireland at home on the 18th of November and Gibraltar away on the 21st November.
United are currently without Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Casemiro, Jonny Evans and Amad Diallo.
Denmark are second in Group H, level on points with leaders Slovenia.
