A former youth leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Barrister Olutayo Babalayo, has alleged the chairman of the party, engineer Ade Adetimehin of manipulating the delegates list used for the recently concluded set of primary elections across the state.

Babalayo who made the allegation while speaking on Crest FM’s political program “The Platform”, noted that the names of the delegates were exchanged for other names based on what was perceived as loyalty to the leadership of the party in the state, a move he described as unfair and detrimental to the overall existence of the party in the state.

However, in his view, the director-general, Adeniyi Adegbonmire campaign organization, honorable rasaq isijola, stated that due delegates participated in the primary elections to elect candidates for the state house of assembly, Federal House of Representatives and Senate.

It would be recalled that the director general for Chief Alex Ajipe senatorial campaign team, Tolu Babaleye, had threatened to approach the court to seek redress following the emergence of Jide Ipinsagba as the northern senatorial candidate of the party in ondo state through an alleged doctored delegate list.
