A former Commissioner for Works in Ondo State, Engr Gboye Adegbenro has congratulated Muslim faithful in the state, Nigeria and indeed the world over on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Adegbenro in a chat with Crest FM, urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray fervently for God’s intervention in the myriad of challenges bedeviling Nigeria, most especially insecurity.
The renowned Consulting Engineer, who described Eld-el-Kabir as a festival of sacrifice, admonished the adherent of the faith, to be selfless in seeking Allah’s face for mercy, peace and security of lives and property of all, as the Nation approaches the 2023 general election.
Adegbenro charged the Nation’s security agencies to ensure a watertight surveillance in all strategic locations across the country before, during and after the celebration.
He implored Nigerians to keep hope alive as there would always be a light at the end of the tunnel, assuring citizens that the best of yet to come.
Adegbenro expressed optimism that with the choice of right individuals in positions of authority, Nigeria will soon a Nation of pride to all and sundry.
