The special adviser to the minister of State for Education, Miss Chidinma Sandra says the Ministry of education is not suffering any setback under the watch of Honourable Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, who is also aspiring for the presidency in 2023
Sandra, who made this known while speaking on Crest Fm’s Political Programme, The Platform explained that contrary to beliefs that Dr Nwajiuba is not bothered about the fate of Nigerians students at home as a result of the ASUU strike, the ministry he supervises does hire, fire or execute remuneration workers with the federal government against the thoughts of many.
Sandra, who also revealed that contrary to perceived opinions that most politicians’ children school abroad, all Nwajiuba’s kids attend educational institutions in Nigeria till date.
She however appealed to the striking lecturers to please return to the negotiation table with the federal government as youths remain the people at the receiving end in all the entire melee.
It would be recalled that some Nigerians were of the opinion that the Minister is not bothered about the linginering industrial action in the education sector and went on to buy the 100 million Naira All Progressive Congress Presidential Nomination Form; a form the Special Adviser said was Bought for him by some well meaning Nigerians without his prior awareness.
