Chelsea assistant boss Jesus Perez has been fined 4,000 pounds for his red card in the latter stages of Saturday’s 2-0 defeat by Brentford.
Perez was dismissed and later charged with misconduct after a clash with the Bees bench in the 88th minute, with the score at 1-0, when he entered their technical area to try to get the ball back.
A English Football Association statement said Perez “admitted his conduct was improper and he accepted the standard penalty”.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino, who has worked with Perez since 2010, apologised to Brentford earlier in the week.
