A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Pastor Olufemi Bakere has attributed the challenges confronting the economy to an overdependence on foreign items thereby giving less to agriculture and other locally Made products
Bakare made this known while speaking on the ability to save the country from the seemingly precarious situation it found itself with the myriads of economic challenges on Crest Fm’s political program, The Platform
He noted that the issues experienced in the economy at the current APC administration is a ripple effect of the past decadence of previous administrations And did not just begin after the emergence of the ruling party in 2015.
On the ongoing impasse between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) that spiralled to the shutting down of the Muritala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos state by the national association of Nigerian students (NANS) yesterday, the APC Chieftain charged the students not to take matters into their own hands while urging All parties involved to urgently reach an agreement for the good of the Students.
Bakare added that his party has a veritable agenda and strategy to make Nigeria a better place through its candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who already has a semblance of development in Lagos State.
