A Lagos based legal practitioner and human rights activist, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa SAN has aligned his thoughts with that of the legal icon, Aare Afe Babalola, SAN, saying the country needs a new constitution before the 2023 general elections.
Speaking on The Crest Breakfast Show, Adegoruwa called on all patriotic Nigerians who want the country to remain united, to join hands to reject the 1999 constitution to save the country from disintegration.
Speaking on the 2023 election, the senior advocate of Nigeria said zoning is constitutional as it means the same thing as federal character, which is expressly captured in the 1999 constitution.
Ebun Olu-Adegboruwa called on the federal government to as a matter of urgency find a lasting solution to the spate of insecurity bedeviling the land.
